Asteroid 2024 YR4, roughly 60 meters (200 feet) wide, has a 4% chance of colliding with the Moon on December 22, 2032, according to 2025 observations from NASA and the ESA. While it poses no threat to Earth, a potential lunar impact could create a 1-km crater and eject debris.
